One Student, One Digital Human

Overview

This seminar shares the speaker’s experience in advancing values education through generative AI and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) technology. This school’s teaching team developed the ‘One Student, One Digital Human’ project based on cross-disciplinary collaboration, enabling students to develop proper values and attitudes through studying the lives of historical Chinese figures.



The seminar consists of three parts. First, the speaker will introduce the design philosophy, demonstrating how they organically integrate values education, historical culture, information literacy, and technological applications. Then, the speaker will share practical experiences, showing how students use RAG technology to create personalised chatbots of historical figures and deepen their understanding of these figures and their values through interactive dialogue. Finally, the speaker will explore the effectiveness of this innovative teaching model and its future development directions.
