Overview
This school has been actively promoting Self-Regulated Learning. Over the years, this school has integrated the theories of Cooperative Learning, Self-Regulated Learning, and Constructivist Learning to develop curriculum and teaching strategies that enhance students' motivation, involvement, cognitive abilities, and metacognitive awareness, transforming them into active learners.
With the advancement of Generative AI, we have integrated and implemented Generative AI tools (such as marking platforms) in our subject-specific teaching and learning practices. Our objective is to enhance students' motivation and strengthen their metacognitive abilities.
This seminar aims to explore the impact of Generative AI on subject teaching, with a particular focus on two key areas: (1) empowering teachers and (2) enhancing students’ autonomous learning—specifically their motivation and metacognitive skills, in order to explore diverse pathways for future development.
