Well-being Theatre | DEI Theatre (Curated by EdCity)
Overview
In this seminar, the speaker will introduce the Value Education for Entrepreneurial Spirit (VEES) virtual learning platform, which has been developed with the support of the EDB QEF. The platform is designed to promote values of entrepreneurial spirit and national identity among students. The speaker will discuss the implementation of this platform in schools, showcasing a specific example and research findings to illustrate its effectiveness.
The VEES virtual learning platform nurtures positive values and attitudes, essential for students' all-round development in creativity, character, and identity. The approach integrates these educational priorities with innovative information technology tools provided by the platform. This includes training packages for teachers and a value measurement kit to assess and enhance the educational outcomes.
The efforts of the speaker’s team have led to the publication of our results in the SSCI Q1 Journal – The International Journal of Educational Research Open, highlighting the project's significant impact both locally and internationally.
This seminar will detail how the VEES platform aligns with the 10 priorities for education, focusing on fostering a supportive and harmonious environment within schools and across the Greater Bay Area. The speaker will also explore how the platform's instant feedback capabilities can revolutionise traditional teaching methods.
