LEGO® Education Science New Trial Experience: Primary School Science Exploration and AI Assessment Report (Theme: Substance)

Overview

The LEGO® Education Science series has officially launched in Hong Kong, supporting next year's primary school science curriculum.

The essence of science lies in asking questions, actively exploring, and thinking innovatively. How can we ignite students' passion for science while nurturing their investigative spirit and problem-solving skills?

The Hong Kong primary science curriculum emphasises guiding students to conduct inquiries using scientific methods, independently seeking answers while connecting science and technology to daily life. This cultivates curiosity, an investigative mindset, and creativity.

In this workshop, participants will engage in hands-on activities using LEGO® Education Science set to experience fun, inquiry-based science exploration. They will explore how to apply the 5Es instructional model to guide students in autonomously constructing scientific knowledge while applying STEM skills during inquiry and engineering design processes, thereby stimulating motivation and creative thinking. Additionally, the workshop will explore how AI assessment tools can provide real-time analysis of student learning progress, helping teachers refine lesson design, enhance classroom interaction, and improve teaching effectiveness—making science learning more efficient and inspiring.
