AI in Education Theatre (Curated by EdCity)

Overview

Since the 2019-20 school year, Kowloon Sam Yuk Secondary School has recognised the needs of the local talent market and aligned with the government's blueprint for promoting smart city development by attempting to integrate geospatial data technology into interdisciplinary learning. GIS and BIM, as one of the leading application technologies today, are increasingly being used in fields such as smart buildings, smart cities, and even the low-altitude economy. Therefore, our school has decided to take the initiative to incorporate these two cutting-edge technologies into our formal curriculum, aiming to equip our youth to face the challenges of future technological advancements. We are the first school in Hong Kong to offer such a course. The speakers will share experiences on how to integrate geospatial data technology into the formal curriculum of computer science and diverse learning experiences.
