
AR Ancient Poetry Teaching AIDS: A New Tool for Virtual Teaching of Chinese Subjects

Overview
In this open lesson, the speaker with first share the teaching design with the participants. The design will use the framework of Experience-Exploration-Teaching-Summary. Students scan the AR card to activate the relevant contents of ancient poems, and can see dynamic visual effects, such as the artistic conception, historical background and cultural connotation of the poems. Then, students participate in role-playing in AR virtual scenes to deepen exploration. After teachers teach knowledge points, students and teachers summarise the main ideas together.
The open lesson aims to improve students' interest in learning ancient poetry, enhance students' understanding of all aspects of ancient poetry, develop students' 21st century learning ability, and improve their moral character and humanistic quality.
