Overview
In today’s fast-evolving world, education must go beyond academic achievement to nurture students as whole individuals. Based on the speaker’s experience in international and national school settings, she designed the LEAPS Program – a structured yet flexible student development framework that helps schools integrate Leadership, Extra-Curricular Activities, Achievement, Participation, and Service into a holistic model. LEAPS can be implemented across levels—from preschool to senior high school – and is compatible with UK-based curricula like Cambridge and Oxford AQA, as well as national frameworks.
This open lesson will share how LEAPS supports the development of future-ready learners by aligning with international learner attributes such as the IB Learner Profile, Cambridge and Oxford AQA attributes, and global competencies like the 6Cs. The open lesson will highlight practical strategies for implementation, including point systems, portfolios, graduation projects, and measurable rubrics that encourage student agency and community engagement.
