AI Marking and Feedback Platform for DSE Chinese: Assigned Topic Writing and Practical Writing Support

In the context of Hong Kong's Diploma of Secondary Education (DSE), artificial intelligence is proving to be a valuable asset in Chinese language education. This workshop will present AI technologies developed in our QEF project that provide automated, comprehensive evaluations of student writing, including assigned topic writing and practical writing tasks. Participants will discover how these tools deliver detailed feedback to support improvement in various aspects of Chinese writing. The workshop will also explore AI applications for Chinese reading tasks, demonstrating how technology can enhance the teaching and learning experience. These innovations aim to equip teachers with powerful resources to help students excel in DSE Chinese examinations.
