Teaching Values Education through AI-Generated Images

Overview

Firstly, students acquired historical knowledge in the Chinese history lesson, where they explored the construction process of the Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge, from initial planning and site selection to overcoming various challenges and ultimately completing the bridge. Then, in the computer class, they learnt to use Adobe Firefly AI drawing techniques to recreate the Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge, historical figures, or significant historical stories. Finally, on an emotional level, students engaged in group discussions and peer evaluations using Padlet to reflect on their learning and summarise relevant values and attitudes, such as perseverance, responsibility, and diligence, that emerged during the construction of the Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge.
