Theme-based Reading Reimagined: A Multimedia Reading Journey on the Tram

Overview

The Curriculum Resources Section of the Education Bureau has produced educational multimedia resources on the theme of “Trams”—A Voyage with Books Series: Jingling Tracks. This seminar will introduce the key features of these resources: reading materials complete with illustrations, photographs, and voice narrations of selected texts. These elements allow participants to savour the tram scenes depicted by different writers and artists, and encourage teachers to make effective use of the materials to organise reading activities.
