Campus TV and Video Generation in the Era of AI: Infinitive Possibilities in Learning and Teaching
Innovation Classroom (Curated by EdCity)
Overview
The workshop will explore the innovative applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) video generation technology in the education landscape, introducing the key points of the technology, with AI campus TV as one of the examples to demonstrate how students’ portraits and voices can be used to generate videos in different languages, and to develop a virtual customer service system with Zoom. In addition, its applications in teaching, ethical issues and anti-fraud awareness will also be explored.
AI technology is changing the way we teach and learn. This workshop will enable participants to understand that AI video generation technology can quickly generate personalized teaching materials, such as educational videos featuring specific student images. As ethical oversight is necessary when using this technology, this workshop will emphasize the discussion of AI ethics and foster participants’ responsible use of AI, which plays an increasingly significant role nowadays.
Participants of this workshop will:
• Understand how AI technology will transform media production: Participants will experience how to quickly generate videos with simple materials, significantly lowering the production threshold and reducing time cost;
• Recognize the innovative possibilities of AI video generation in teaching: Participants will learn how to apply this technology in their subjects or interdisciplinary teaching to create engaging learning experiences for students;
• Acknowledge the ethical responsibilities alongside the benefits of AI technology: Participants will examine deepfake fraud cases as examples to enhance their awareness of AI ethics and data protection.
