Immersive Learning Made Simple: VR and AI in Action
Startups Circle
Overview
In this presentation, the speaker will introduce Classlet, a next-generation platform designed to make immersive learning accessible, engaging, and research-ready. Classlet combines virtual reality environments, interactive quests, and AI-driven guidance to help educators and researchers explore how immersive technologies impact student engagement, presence, and learning outcomes. At its core, Classlet enables instructors to create custom VR scenes and task-based quests that align with real curriculum goals. Students navigate realistic scenarios, collaborate with peers, and receive feedback from GPT-powered avatars acting as virtual tutors. A built-in gamified token system tracks progress and keeps motivation high.
Classlet also serves as a valuable testbed for researchers studying embodiment, cognitive load, or emerging concepts like embodied cognition in GenAI avatars. Its low-code authing tools and robust analytics dashboard provide flexibility for designing experiments and analysing learner behavior in real time. Looking ahead, our roadmap includes embodied GenAI avatars, reinforcement learning assistants, and more advanced quest structures to enhance adaptability and personalised learning. With Classlet, we aim to bridge the gap between cutting-edge research and practical classroom innovation, empowering educators and researchers to unlock the full potential of VR and AI in education.
